Letter #69 - "Anything I send to my Grandma, she laminates" ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ

June 18, 2018

Hello Family and Friends ๐Ÿ˜‚

It has been another week. I got to go on a tradeoff with Sister Seegmiller. She is so greaattt! This is her first transfer in the mission field. She is so relaxed and that was nice thing to relate to. We stayed in my area (Gainesville 2) and we sure did something!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ We have been playing ultimate frisbee for exercise a few times, except the grass is so wet and my shoes get soaked๐Ÿ’ฆ We are waking up early many times, I know the Lord is strengthening me because somehow I'm still going. We had zone conference and I bore my testimony๐Ÿ˜ธ President Lee sobbed during the testimonies and many in the crowd shed tears. It's hard for the missionaries to see Sister Prue to leave. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ They moved the temple trip early and I'm going this week, so that will be a good experience! It's been too long and I have so much to learn there๐Ÿ‘ผ๐Ÿป Sister Beecher and I are working our area for all its worth. We are seeing the blessings of following up, with finding more people to teach, such as families๐Ÿ˜ We went to Newberry and I introduced sister Beecher to Cilantro Taco. She liked it.
"And don’t be alarmed when the prophet’s warning voice counters popular opinions of the day. The mocking fireballs of annoyed disbelievers are always hurled the moment the prophet begins to speak. As you are humble in following the counsel of the Lord’s prophet, I promise you an added blessing of safety and peace." - Neil L Andersen

Sorry I haven't taken so many pictures, I'll try to be better this week!

Letter #68 - IT COMES STORMIN IN๐ŸŠ‍♀️๐ŸŠ‍♀️๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿ„‍♀️

June 11, 2018

Hello Family and Friends, ๐Ÿ˜
This week the Thunder and Lightning has been fantastic. It sounds so close like it's going to bring the house down! With Sister Beecher, we talk to EVERYONE. I often get nervous to talk to people, but sister Beecher has no fear. It gives us a lot more opportunities to testify of the Book of Mormon and of Jesus Christ's gospel. We hand out so many book of Normans ๐Ÿ˜‰ I also love the app cards, because it's basically the same thing as handing out a bom. What's easier than opening a book? Downloading an app. Somehow, this is the logic we experience today. We had dinner and lesson with Brittany and Bryan and the Staceys came along as our member fellowshippers. They agreed to come to church!...until Sunday night ๐Ÿ™ƒ But I always think about how patient the Lord is with us and he always gives us several attempts as well. We got to go to Jacksonville for MLC. Talked about helping our investigators to keep commitments. People are not likely to change until invited to do so. And ya gotta keep following up. Real life people.

I had a chimichanga for the first time this week. It was good. And jimmy johns. We gave a book of Mormon to a Baptist lady and she said she would read it. Barbara is going to convert her whole family. We call back a person and miss 5 more calls in the process. Comes to MLC an hour early so we aren't late. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

"Eventual exaltation requires our complete fidelity now to covenants we make and ordinances we receive in the house of the Lord....

I bless you to identify those things you can set aside so you can spend more time in the temple. I bless you with greater harmony and love in your homes and a deeper desire to care for your eternal family relationships. I bless you with increased faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and a greater ability to follow Him as His true disciples." President Nelson, Let us All Press On

Letter #67 - CupCAKE๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‚

June 4, 2018

Hello Family and Friends!
This week (last Monday) I dropped off sister Esquerra so she could go home๐Ÿ›ซ๐Ÿ›ซ and I spent a few days with the sisters in Jacksonville! It was an amazing time! I was with Sister Byington and I got to know her. She is awesome and I'm so grateful to meet her for the short time we had. Then on Wednesday, I joined my last companion, SISTER BEECHER. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ She is literally an answer to my prayers. She is so focused and so hardworking. I love it!๐Ÿ˜ END STRONG ๐Ÿ˜ we visited Sister Miller and Sister Miller ( who arent related) and Sister Miller made us a cake! She had baked leftovers of another cake she made and felt like decorating it and sending It home with us. We met a minister named Greg and he came to church! He leads praise and worship at his church. He is open to different He said he wants to come next week. We also met a 10 year old who wants to do Family History! She said, " im going to download the app right now" and proceeded to make an account ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
I LOVED President Nelsons devotional last night. It was incredible. I'm going to take his challenge when I come back. This is the time to rise and shine! I love our prophet and the action he's been taking to help the world repent.

Luke 21:31-33
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Letter #66 - Hello! Last Transfer ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

May 28, 2018

Hi Everyone,
This week we had transfer calls and I'm staying in Gainesville as a Sister Training leader for my last transfer! Sister Esquerra is going home and I'm going to be companions with Sister Beecher ๐Ÿคฃ Its the perfect ending, I'm so excited. There are so many adventures awaiting๐ŸŽต I got to go to a neat little southern restaurant that is built from an old southern house. It was so much food and a neat experience. I got southern fried tilapia. Sister Esquerra went on her going home temple trip and had a great time. I spent the afternoon with sister Gabbitas and Sister Angell. Barbara is excited to get baptized. I got to see two of my old companions sister Kirkham and Sister Williams one last time and I love them so much. I get to stay with the Jacksonville sisters while I wait for my new companion.

Moroni 8:3
3 I am mindful of you always in my prayers, continually praying unto God the Father in the name of his Holy Child, Jesus, that he, through his infinite goodness and grace, will keep you through the endurance of faith on his name to the end.

Letter #65 - 3 back to back๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿ‘ง

May 14, 2018

Hello Family and Friends!
We had a great week with many wonderful sisters! We went on 3 tradeoffs with our Gainesville sisters! I went with sister Newman, SIster Angell, and Sister Kicenski! They were so hardworking and dedicated to the Lord. I joined sister Newman in the YSA and had a blast! I even saw a few Gators around as we talked to everyone! Their semester just ended so there werent many people around, but we still had a great time!
Sister Angell and I stuck to my area. She has the spirit with her and has done so much before her mission :) Sister Kicenski and I took a tour of Florida as we got a bit lost in the country part of my city area. We also met many wonderful people in my area.
We had interviews with President Lee and so the Assistants came and gave a training on teaching with the spirit and it really touched so many of the missionaries.
We also had skype calls with our parents! I got to talk with my parents and so it was pretty normal comparatively. Its like 50 something days left.
Love Sister Prue

Letter #64 - Friends

May 7, 2018

Hello๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
This week was Zone Conference as well as my first trade off as a Sister Training Leader! The theme personally for me at ZOCO was friends, as Heavenly Father emphasized the importance of long lasting, respectful relationships that last forever. Sister Esquerra gave her departing testimony, I've known her since the beginning of my mission. She was one of the first sisters I met in the field. We had a mini reunion of the missionaries that came into the field with me from the MTC. It was fun to see our progress. I love the missionaries of the FJM. I went to Ocala with Sister Weyland and visited her area๐Ÿ˜ They have lots of people to work with and we had some fun lessons. She is a great missionary and she isn't even out of 12 week training yet๐Ÿ˜ฎ We are having dinner tonight with Brittany and Bryan, our investigators. They are beginning to read the book of Mormon and asking questions ๐Ÿ˜ We also got to watch the YSA devotional, it was a good reminder that we don't need to be miserable, we can be happy serving others. Christ is always the perfect pattern of life.
Love, Sister Prue
